Tommy, as an AO member for over a decade, I’ve loved sharing in the passion for our national teams—a passion that brings together people from every background and walk of life. From celebrating John Brooks’s World Cup goal with AO Boston to braving that very, very (very) cold night in Minnesota against Honduras, I’ve seen firsthand how an active AO chapter can transform the experience of supporting our teams.
I grew up in a soccer-crazy family. My dad became a devoted USMNT supporter back in the 1980s and made sure our entire family followed the team wherever they went. That love for the game has taken me across the country to watch the USMNT play—and it’s not limited to the men’s team. I’m equally passionate about all our national teams, from the youth squads to the USWNT. I’m the person who replays the match the next day just to catch what I missed the first time.
Now living on the Upper West Side and raising a young son of my own, I feel an even stronger desire to help shape the kind of soccer community I want him to grow up in—one that’s supportive, inclusive, and welcoming to everyone. I want to help build a space where fans of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures can come together to share in this passion for the game and for each other.
As President of AO New York City, I’m thrilled to do this together—to create a place where I can bring my 4-year-old son, my 10-year-old niece, and my 74-year-old dad to cheer on our national teams alongside others who feel that same electric excitement. Together, just like our teams, we can make it happen.

Michael is a native New Yorker, born and raised in the West village. He is looking forward to helping the NYC Chapter, as VIce President, and is the father of twin boys.

Molly is a native New Yorker and excited to join the AO NYC chapter as Secretary. When she’s not cheering on the Yanks she is supporting Gotham FC as a Cloud 9 member. Molly also volunteers as a foster with Flatbush Cats.
